JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT | ARKANSAS REPERTORY THEATRE

“Director Caelon Colbert gives the familiar tale a fresh coat of paint, framing Joseph as a video game-inspired journey in which Joseph advances through a series of increasingly difficult levels. Pixelated projections, familiar sound effects, animated transitions and visual nods to everything from Pokémon to The Legend of Zelda turn each new challenge into the equivalent of another stage to conquer. The concept works surprisingly well, giving each trial a satisfying sense of progression.” - Arkansas Times
